Kit Carson County Memorial Hospital (KCCMH) serves a geographical area within a 60-mile radius of Burlington, CO.

KCCMH continuously evaluates the health care needs of the region's residents and strives to provide new or expanded health care services and programs to meet those requirements. Today, KCCH is a not for profit, licensed, acute care facility with 24 acute beds and 8 Medicare long-term care beds. We provide complete radiology and laboratory services, Home/Health and Hospice programs, Physical and Occupational Therapy, Cardiac Rehabilitation and our Specialty Clinic which offers the services of medical specialists in 16 areas from Audiology to Urology.

Transportation

Interstate 70, that huge artery of commerce and tourism, runs like an arrow through the county. Both Denver International Airport and the Colorado Springs Airport are conveniently accessible. And locally, the Kit Carson County Airport, located south of Burlington, offers a mile-long runway for general aviation use.

The county is also serviced by Kyle Railways which parallels I-70.
