Lincoln Community Hospital and Nursing Home, located in Hugo, is a 15-bed critical access hospital and a 35-bed nursing home facility. Services invlude laboratory, radiology, cat scan, cardiac rehab, home health, and occupation/physical/speech theraphy. Specialty physicians are on-site monthly. The Plains Medical Center was built in 1992 and is staffed with quality nurses and physicians.

Transportation

Interstate 70, U.S. Highways 24, 40 and 287 intersect in Limon, along with Colorado 71 for the north-south traveler. The shortest route from Denver to Kansas City is I-70; U.S. 24 dips south from I-70 to join I-25 at Colorado Springs.

The Limon Municipal Airport has a 4,700-foot paved runway with 24-hour lighting and FBO availability. DIA and the Colorado Springs Airport are within an hours' drive.

Lincoln County is also served by the Union Pacific and Kyle Railroads.
